Japan’s hunts threaten some dolphins and whales with extinction, says EIA

The Environmental Investigation Agency have uncovered that Japan’s whaling “catch quotas are based on data collected as much as 20 years ago”. Derived from outdated figures, the hunts are entirely unsustainable. There will now undoubtedly be cetacean species endangered beyond recovery.

I’m heartbroken. More dishonesty and deceit. Sometimes the battle against such nonchalant attitudes seems impossible.
